Work
Kristina was involved in the Student Union (HUMSA) in the faculty of Humanities of Kaunas University of Technology for four years. Her responsibilities there included coordination of information and public relations. For half a year she was a member of a students’ newspaper “Njuspeipis” of KTU. She was an intern at Global Citizen and she had the honour to be a part of their project “The Great Debate 2050”.

Education
Kristina graduated from Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania in 2010. She was awarded a bachelor’s degree in Computational linguistics and now she holds a master’s degree from Linguistics at Aarhus University.

Areas of Interest
She is interested in languages of the world, diversity of cultures, language development and communication, media and technologies of language.

Personal
Kristina was born and raised in Lithuania. She has always been very active; therefore she was a member of the dancing group “Vijona” in Marijampoles Rygiskiu Jono gymnasium; Latin American dancing in the group “Viesulas” of KTU and Salsa dancing in “SalsaKaunas”. She participated in and won the KTU Valiant students’ competition in 2008. She was a member of “Lindy Hoppers” of Aarhus. Kristina is also a volunteer in Studenterhus Århus, where she belongs to the International Group and help with the organization of different events and activities for exchange students. She likes watching movies, learning languages, meeting new people and she is addicted to everything related to dancing!
