This report explores what we know about patterns of work-life mobility for a number of the key equality groups – women, ethnic minorities, those with a disability and older people.1 We conduct a substantial review of existing research and also offer a distinctive new analysis of panel survey data to unpick the complex patterns and range of processes that produce inequalities in work-life mobility.
