Education
Søren finished High School in 1986. From 1990 till 2000 he studied philosophy and political science at Aarhus University where his main focus was on metaphysics and ethics.

Areas of Interest
Globalisation, (especially the importance of understanding the role of modern economy) Political Tools, Political Actors, politics in general, philosophy and metaphysics (Aristotle, G.W.F.  Hegel, historical materialism, John Dewey and Hans Fink's absolute naturalism), natural science (not least evolution and astronomy), history, media, China, engineering and good craftsmanship.

Personal
In 1985 Søren received the Queen Ingrid Travel Grant, among other things for his work against the Apartheid rule in South Africa. In '86 and again in '89 he travelled around Asia. For 30 years he has been involved in a variety of organizational work and from 1996 to 2000 he was a board member at one of the Danish political parties. 

He has had a wide variety part-time and fulltime jobs as a factory worker, a teacher, a dishwasher, a baker, a mason, a student counselor, etc.

Since 2000 he has worked at New Europe where he in recent years has functioned as administrative director. He has also functioned as a special adviser to the Vice-President of the European Commission, Margot Wallström.

Søren is married to Bjanka Boldt Lundby and together they have two girls of 7 and 13 years of age.
