Work
Munir has formerly worked in different international non-governmental organisations based in Afghanistan in areas of communication, coordination, project development and media, where he was involved in management, execution and supervision of several development, training and strengthening Afghan civil society programs- including development of local governance. He is currently employed as a Project Developer at Global Citizen

Education
Munir has a BA in Journalism from Kabul University in Afghanistan, 2004, and a MA in Culture, Communication and Globalisation (CCG) from Aalborg University in Denmark, 2011.

Areas of Interest
International civil society, social media, globalisation, failed states rebuilding, international relations, peace building and conflict transformation.

Personal
Munir was born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, where he finished his primary and bachelor studies. He was graduated from journalism faculty of Kabul University in 2004 and worked for three years in different non-governmental ogranisations in positions from coordination, governance, supervision and execution of projects to journalism training and conduction of Radio programs. To pursue his master degree he moved to Denmark in 2009 and is currently living and working in Aarhus city, Denmark. In his free time Munir enjoys reading books and articles related to Afghanistan. He love sports and is currently training at fitnessworld.dk.
