Ethiopia’s Grand Renaissance Dam which is expected to be completed in 2017 is causing political and social turmoil between Ethiopia and Egypt. Egyptians are worried that they will see a reduction in water and in the capacity of power-generation from water while the Ethiopians maintain that there are no need to be fearful of such consequences.
