"On 15 November 2002, IFAW's Emergency Relief (ER) Team joined local animal groups in efforts to rescue animals affected by oil spilled from the Prestige, an old single-hull tanker that sank off the northwest coast of Spain, with a 77,000 ton load of crude oil.
