"More than half of ethnic minority viewers think issues affecting them are dealt with poorly by TV news, according to a survey published today. Some 51% of those questioned thought ethnic minority issues were covered fairly badly or very badly by broadcasters. Nearly half - 47% - thought the coverage of the Forest Gate police raid in June was "too sensational", with 58% saying the broadcast media were "too quick to jump to conclusions"."
