"Ofgem promotes all consumers' interests ... protects consumers by monitoring the energy market and taking action where there is evidence that companies have breached their obligations to consumers. We have issued large penalties and where possible achieved redress for consumers. We have called for consumer redress powers to further strengthen our ability to take more targeted action against companies that are found in breach of their licence.
