The legal framework for adopting renewable energy solutions has seen important developments since 2008 with the Law for Sustainable Exploitation of Energy and the Law for the Exploitation of Renewable Energy and Financing of Energy Transition. However, recent information shows that only three percent of electricity is produced from renewable energy sources. This article suggests that there could be remarkable changes in the future in spite of recent figures.
