441 Species Discovered in Amazon Since 2010
"A titi monkey that purrs like a cat is just one of hundreds of species discovered in the Amazon in recent years, according to the World Wildlife Fund. The organization compiled a list of the 441 new species as scientists were about to describe 258 plants, 84 fish, 58 amphibians, 22 reptiles, 18 birds, and one mammal found between 2010 and 2013."
