Our emission of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases have done irreversible damage to our planet and sea levels will rise due to this fact. This article asks the question: In which areas will we hold our ground against the rising sea and in which areas will we flea to higher ground? It investigates technological and architectural steps made to adapt to rising sea levels in the Netherlands and USA.
