E.ON’s customers want clean, reliable and affordable energy, and the next steps as far as E.ON’s business plan is concerned are in the areas of increasing use of biofuels, more natural gas, energy efficiency measures and CCS. E.ON are focussing on ‘Doing the doable, and doing it now.’ To this end, E.ON aims to supply 50% of its energy from renewable and nuclear sources, and 50% from fossil fuel fired plants using CCS. E.ON also have a major focus on the development of public acceptance of the CCS technologies.
