Oil Production

"World crude oil production increased by 60% over the 39 years from 1971 to 2010. In 2010, production reached 3 973 million tonnes or about 86 million barrels per day. Growth was not constant over the period as production declined in the aftermath of two oil shocks in the early and late 1970s." (Quoted from document)
