Stella Papadopoulou




Work
Has been working as a private tutor with children of different ages teaching Greek language, since 2005. Also, she has worked as a volunteer at the NGO "Arsis", contributing to an awareness campaign in order to collect aid for vulnerable groups like immigrants and homeless people who live in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Education
Graduated in 2006 from the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy in Faculty of Pedagogy, Aristotle University. Her postgraduate studies were held in the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy, in the same University, in the specialty of Lifelong Learning and Adult Education. Her thesis was a research on learning partnerships in the European Union; the functions and the problems they are facing. The research was based on a case study of a learning partnership that took place in the region of Central Macedonia in Greece.

Areas of Interest
Main areas of interest are Lifelong Learning and Adult Education. She is also very interested in the role of European Union politics in Adult Education.

Personal
In her free time she practices yoga and she travels as much as she can. She also enjoys studying foreign languages and cultures.
