Work
Shota has worked at various companies and organizations at different positions at various times. Among them were Open Maps Caucasus, an initiative that digitalized Georgia and created the first electronic map of the whole country; also Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and International Research and Exchange Board.

Education
Shota is currently working on his master’s degree in Economic Policy in Global Markets at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgian Technical University (Tbilisi, Georgia) in Computer Science and Economics.

Areas of Interest
Shota’s work interests are global economic policy issues, emergence of global economies and energy security. Personal interests are travelling, languages or just meeting different people around the world.

Personal
Shota was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia but has been travelling a lot since he was 17. After winning a competition at age 17, he did his exchange year in USA, followed by numerous conferences around Europe. In summers, he works at an international sports camp in Germany where he enjoys instrucing outdoor sports to children from all over the world.
