Work
Rita is a student of management of the health at the Universidade Estadual do Rio Grande do Sul (UERGS – Brazil) and is currently working as an editor for Global Citizen. She has worked at the secretary of health, organizing programs to serve children, women and the elderly. She has also worked at newspapers in the area of advertising.
Education
She is currently an undergraduate of management of the health, at the Rio Grande do Sul’s State University - Brazil, and will gain her bachelor’s degree in 2011. After this she plans to do her master’s degree and become a university professor. She also plans to travel to take courses all over the world. She attended The Climate Embassy Course, in Krogerup folk high school, Crossing Borders – Denmark, in August 2009.

Poverty reduction, globalisation, international trade, natural resource governance, corruption, human rights, environment, philosophy and metaphysics, natural sciences, phytotherapy, international relations, cultural exchange, intercultural exchange, sociological and developmental issues, birth control, etc.
Personal
Rita grew up in a small town near Porto Alegre, Brazil, called Canoas. She once travelled to Denmark and fell in love with travel and meeting new people, new cultures, exchanging ideas and experiences. She is married and has 3 kids, so family is very important. She loves studying, reading, walking in nature and at the beach, going to the cinema and animals.
