Rebecca Marshall

Work
Rebecca’s previous work experience includes working as a research assistant at the University of Melbourne, as an assistant analyst in a property consultancy firm in Melbourne, Australia and experience as a legal intern with environmental and community based legal firms. She is now working for Global Citizen as an editor/researcher.

Education
Completed her Bachelor of Arts (Hons)/Bachelor of Laws (Hons) at the University of Melbourne in 2009. Within her Bachelor of Arts (Hons), Rebecca completed a major in geography. She completed Autumn Semester 2009 on exchange at Copenhagen University.

Areas of interests
Rebecca has developed a keen interest in Environmental and International Law throughout her higher education. She has a specific interest in issues such as environmental management. More broadly she is interested in climate change, energy security, development and good governance.

Personal
Rebecca was born and attended school and university in Melbourne, Australia. Her interest in social justice and environmental law lead to internships at community legal centres whilst studying at the University of Melbourne. She is passionate about travel, foreign language films and music. Rebecca currently lives in Melbourne, Australia.
