Work
Mads has worked as a Project Developer at New Europe/Global Citizen since 2011. Before joining Global Citizen, Mads worked as an intern at the liaison office of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations in Brussels.

Education
Mads holds an MSc in political science from Aarhus University, 2011. He wrote his thesis on the decision-making process regarding the EU Food Facility. The EU Food Facility was an EU response to the food crisis in the developing countries in 2007 and 2008.

Areas of Interest
Main areas of interest are the political system of the EU, democratization of the EU, as well as food and consumer policy.

Personal
Mads’ personal interests include Italian culture and gastronomy, and he often travel in Italy and other parts of Europe. He lives in Viborg with his wife.
