Laurenţiu C. Ciocan

Work
Currently works as a project coordinator at New Europe for the Global Citizen Project. Formerly, during his internship, Laurenţiu was Coordinator of Editors for the same project. Meanwhile, he is an active member of the board of Young European Federalists Denmark (Europæisk Ungdom).

Education
Currently studies at the Department of Political Science, University of Aarhus, Denmark. Initially he began his social science studies at University of West Timişoara, Romania. Furthermore, in the spring of 2006 he worked and studied for his Project Thesis at Savonia University of Applied Sciences, Finland.

Areas of Interest
Public policy, human rights, corruption and anti-corruption studies, the politics of the European Union, European history, and everyday ethics

Personal
Laurenţiu was born and raised in Timişoara, Romania, but for the past years he has been living and studying in Aarhus, Denmark. Moreover, he enjoys travelling and exploring new cultures, taking part in complex debates, exploring his near-fascination.
