Laura Brown

Work 

Has worked in a variety of marketing and communications roles, most recently for the Toronto Community Foundation. Prior to that, she was marketing coordinator for her university’s exchange program and interned at a start-up fundraising company. 

Education 

Graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2010 with a BA in Media, Information and Technoculture paired with a Certificate in Writing. She is currently studying in the MA in Corporate Communication program at the Aarhus School of Business.

Areas of Interest

Main areas of interest are corporate social responsibility (CSR), branding, and social media.  She enjoys studying innovative CSR programs and looking at new business models that put the social good on par with profit. 

Personal 

Laura joined Global Citizen in the Autumn of 2011. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, baking, and watching silly cat videos on YouTube.
