Irina has worked as a civic education teacher, a public relation specialist, a primary school teacher for visual impaired pupils and as an English teacher in Romania.

Education
She holds a Master's Degree in Corporate Communication (to be awarded in 2013) from Aarhus School of Business and Social Sciences, Denmark. She also holds a Master's Degree in Communication Patterns and Public Relations from University of Bucharest. And finally she holds a bachelor in Communication and Public Relations and a bachelor in Office Administration from University of Bucharest, Bucharest, Romania.

Areas of Interest
Her mail interests are intercultural communication, human rights, economy, corporate social responsibility, event management, social media, cross-cultural negotiations, globalization, sustainability, the politics of the European Union, European culture and integration, everyday ethics, ecology, eco-friendly life style: self-sustainable communities and greener cities. Photography, arts, architecture, music, foreign languages. Voluntary activities related to protecting the environment. Long-life learning, personal development and stress management.

Personal
Irina is a sociable, communicative, open-minded and team-player person, she likes to be an active citizen and challenge others to do the same. She was born and educated in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania. Irina loves to travel, experience different cultures and meet new people and she adores exploring the nature, to go hiking and to climb the mountains. She also loves Italian and French culture and loves reading, listening to music and enjoys theater plays, films, documentaries, art exhibitions, visiting museums.
