Gordon Denbow

Professional & Education
I am an engineer focused on the energy sector. I have studied for my Bsc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of the West Indies (UWI) in St. Augustine, Trinidad (2004-2007). After graduating I worked for an 18 month period in a Jamaican engineering consultancy, Basil Nelson & Associates. In 2009 I started my master's degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan (KTH) in Stockholm and currently I am in the last semester of my studies.

Personal & Interests
Laid back personality. Huge fan of sports and new experiences, networking and meeting people. I have done a modest amount of travelling from my native country of Jamaica, in the Americas (Canada, USA, and other countries of the Caribbean and Latin America) and Europe (Sweden, Norway, UK, Finland, Belgium, Italy and The Netherlands). I am a problem solver at heart and have always been intrigued with diversity, networking and doing more with less resources. I look forward to contributing positively to the Global Citizen project.
