Eva Borchorst Mejnertz

Work 

Has worked as a teacher of Politics, English and Innovation at Aarhus Katedralskole since 2008. She is a social entrepreneur and as such works through many channels to advance sustainability and entrepreneurship at large. 

Education 

Finished a graduate degree from Aarhus University in 2008. Completed a Joint Honors degree in Sociology and Political Science from McGill University in 2002. Studied Political Science and English at Aarhus University and participated in many international interdisciplinary university exchanges and courses. Currently completing studies in Business Administration while working full time. Wrote her thesis on integration policy in Denmark and Canada compared. 

Areas of Interest

Main areas of interest are Entrepreneurship, Philanthropy, Children's Rights, Politics, Equality, Integration and Sustainability. Her current focus is a vision to implement a combination of sustainability and entrepreneurship training at all educational institutions in Denmark. She is also very interested in the European Union and the potential for a united high powered effort for sustainability through education and innovation.

Personal 

Eva has 2 children and a vigorous drive towards change for the better. She has attended Lester B. Pearson United World College which is an organization of IB schools that work for the promotion of peace and understanding through education. As a consequence of her educational background she has very strong friendships with idealistic individuals across the globe.

In her spare time Eva engages in projects with her family, exercises and enjoys the occasional coffee and chat with far away friends through Skype and ichat.
