Work
In 2008, Eva spent six months as an intern in the political department of the Danish embassy in Croatia, but is currently devoting her time to her studies.
Education
Eva finished her BA in English and International Studies at Aalborg University in Denmark in 2006. In 2005, she spent one semester at the University of Dundee in Scotland. She is now studying for an MA in Culture, Communication and Globalization, also at Aalborg University. At the moment, she is working on her thesis.
Areas of Interest
Eva’s main areas of interest are international and intercultural relations in general. More specifically, she is interested in migration, nationalism and ethnic conflicts, and American politics and society. During her stay in Croatia she also developed an interest in post-communist democratization and europeanization, especially in the Western Balkans.
Personal
Eva was born in Denmark and has lived there most of her life, but she likes to travel and explore other cultures. In addition to the odd holiday abroad, she has spent extended periods of time in Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, and most recently in Croatia. Eva runs regularly and hopes that she will one day be able to run a marathon. She is also a reasonably proficient snowboarder.
