Work
Previous work experience was in the banking sector with HBOS Plc in the UK, he is now working for Global Citizen as an editor/researcher.

Education
Completed his BA in History and Political Science at the University of Nottingham (UK) in 2006. He recently finished writing his MA thesis in European Studies at Aalborg University in Denmark and graduated in June 2009. 



Areas of Interest
Has mainly focused on International Relations throughout his higher education. Specifically issues such as international conflict resolution, international trade and globalization. However, more broadly his interests also include energy security, migration as well as democratization and good governance.

Personal
Although born in Aberdeen, Chris moved to London aged four and lived there until the age of 18. In between high school and university he was involved in numerous charity projects in London, such as the Besom Project, as well as two months of similar work in Brussels. This work was largely focused on working with various societal groups in need of additional assistance, such as asylum seekers, the homeless and low-income families. His interest in migration largely stems from this experience. He enjoys traveling, live music and especially football. He is currently living in Aarhus, Denmark.
