Carsten works as a Project Developer at Global Citizen.

Education
Carsten has an MA in Political Science at Aarhus University. He wrote his thesis about the decision making process of Operation Iraqi Freedom. And his BA assignment was about the change in Danish immigration policy in 2001 and how the EU should make a common immigration policy. The communication theories were built on the German sociologists Niklas Luhmann and Jürgen Habermas.

Areas of Interest
Main areas of interest are the democratization of the EU, immigration policy, migration, culture, the debate about Turkish membership and the public media of EU.

Personal
Carsten worked as an intern at New Europe from August 2011 to January 2012. He was facilitator at The Great Debate – a high visibility event in connection to the Danish EU Presidency in the first six months of 2012. He has also worked as a Win-back Manager at Alm. Brand for 3 ½ years. Raised in Kolding. Personal interests are politics, travelling, soccer, AGF, NFL, movies and music. Carsten lives in Aarhus with his girlfriend.
