Balazs Ujvari
Work
Balazs has been contributing to the work of NGOs such as Corvinus Society for Foreign Affairs and Culture, having been particularly interested in the European Union. Additionally he has also participated in the actions of the Hungarian Model UN Student Association for several years, primarily dealing with the Middle-East region.
Education
After finishing high school in 2008, Balazs began his academic career at Budapest University of Technology and Economics where he graduated in 2011, acquiring a BA degree in International Communication. Currently he is studying for a master's degree in International Studies at Aarhus University.
Areas of Interest
Balazs' primary fields of interest are international relations and the European Union, with a particular emphasis on the enlargement policy of the community. His BA thesis was on the subject Turkey-EU relations in terms of enlargement. In order to be able to work effectively in this field one day, he continuously takes part in negotiation simulation competitions.
Personal
When it comes to free time, he tries to do as many useful and relaxing activities as he can. Notably, learning languages takes up a significant part of his free-time. Furthermore, jogging, reading and meeting with friends are also activities he is in favour of.
