Work
Previous work experience in the NGO sector with IBIS in Copenhagen, and she is now working for Global Citizen as an editor/researcher.

Education
She is studying political science at the University of Aarhus. She is now writing her MA thesis and graduates in June 2010.



Areas of Interest
She has mainly focused on sociological and developmental issues throughout her higher education. Specifically issues such as citizenship, media, NGOs and development in Africa. However, more broadly her interests also include environment, climate as well as democratization and good governance.

Personal
Although born in Horsens, Anna moved to Thy aged 14 and lived there until the age of 20. In between high school and university she worked to earn money to go traveling, and went to South Africa where she worked as a volunteer teaching math and English to street children, to Vietnam/Cambodia/China, where culture and nature were the main interests and on a trip around Eastern Europe. Her interest in citizenship and good governance largely stems from these experiences. She enjoys traveling, live music and especially riding Icelandic horses. She is currently living in Aarhus, Denmark.
